- Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is the highest grade of charcoal. These charcoals are from the Kishu region of Japan.
- A natural purification that reduces water hardness, absorbs odor, and filters for great-tasting water. Filtering time for 1-2 gallons of water is 6-7 hours.
- Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry.
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
- Use 1 stick for 1-2 gallons of water; stick is approximately 1.1 inches in diameter and 5.9 inches in length.
